Serious assault at Joyceville Institution
Members of the Joint Forces Penitentiary Squad, led by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), are investigating a serious assault at Joyceville Institution, near Kingston.
On December 1, 2019 at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers from the Penitentiary Squad responded after the Correctional Service of Canada reported that a 43-year old inmate had been located with life-threatening injuries and had been transported by ambulance to hospital. The inmate has not been publicly identified.
The investigation by members of the Penitentiary Squad is ongoing, with assistance from the Kingston Police Service and OPP East Region Crime Unit, under the direction of Detective Inspector Brad Collins of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

yah what a joke, I am absolutely positive that nothing will become of it,
I’ve done time in 6 different pens and nothing ever comes of it and they don’t fix issues they keep ppl sergated for months on end and here’s the kicker all these nice things they had in the 1980s1990 and about up to 2010 are all slowly getting tooken away it’s almost like the bucket now
