Santa is coming to Springer Market Square

Pack your Christmas list and make your way downtown, as Santa is returning to the Limestone City in advance of the holidays.
Now in its 12 year, Santa in the Square, presented by the Downtown Kingston! BIA has become a holiday tradition here in Kingston, and Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 is the first day you can catch Jolly Old St. Nicholas himself in Springer Market Square.
“Everyone is welcome: The young, the young-at-heart… even the family dog!” the BIA said in a press release earlier this week.
“Don’t forget to bring your camera along with your friends and family – Santa will pose for free and the pictures are yours to take.”
Santa in the Square will take place each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from tomorrow until Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019.
At the same time, Market Square has now become Kingston’s festive headquarters with public skating on the rink behind City Hall (weather permitting), and horse drawn carriage rides in downtown Kingston with drop off at pick up taking place between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each Saturday. If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, head down to Springer Market Square each weekend from now until Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019.
