According to Resolve, who offer counselling services for individuals, families, children, and workplaces, the Women Supporting Women Drop-In Group is a free, confidential and supportive opportunity for women-identified individuals, aged 16+, who have experienced any form of intimate partner violence or unhealthy relationships, past or present.

“This group is facilitated by a counsellor from Resolve’s Women’s Counselling Program, who is available to help answer questions, provide support and connect participants with additional services where needed,” the organization stated.

The free drop-in group will begin in April 2024. The first two dates are Tuesday, Apr. 9 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, Apr. 25 at 6 p.m., and it will continue to operate twice a month on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday, with both a daytime and an evening group.

Resolve noted that individuals do not need to be connected to its counselling services to attend.
