Queen’s Men’s Hockey heading to East finals and other Gaels news

The Queen’s Men’s Hockey team took victory over the Gee-Gees on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, and are moving on to the OUA East final. Both the Men’s and Women’s Volley Teams won games at home over the weekend, sending them to the playoffs. And the season comes to an end for three Gaels teams. OTTAWA (February 24, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (4-1) went into Ottawa and defeated the Gee-Gees (3-2) 6-5 on Sunday night to advance to the Queen’s Cup semifinal and OUA East final.

KINGSTON, Ont. (February 23, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (13-6) used straight sets to defeat the visiting Lakehead Thunderwolves (1-17) in the Gaels final OUA regular season match of the season ahead of OUA playoffs.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL – Gaels honour seniors, finish atop OUA East with home playoff game next Saturday vs Guelph
KINGSTON, Ont (February 22, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (15-3) got past the RMC Paladins (2-16) with a straight set 3-0 win on Friday night at the ARC. The Gaels finish atop the OUA East and will host a playoff match next Saturday.

KINGSTON, Ont. (February 24, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels suffered a 2-1 overtime loss in game three of the McCaw Cup quarterfinals to the Ryerson Rams.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL – Gaels season comes to a close with 76-70 loss to York in Critelli Cup playoffs
KINGSTON, Ont. (February 20, 2019) – The fourth-seeded Queen’s Gaels saw their OUA season come to a close with a 76-70 loss to the fifth-seeded York Lions in Critelli Cup OUA women’s basketball playoff action at the Queen’s ARC on Wednesday night.

OTTAWA (February 23, 2019) – The fifth-seeded Queen’s Gaels saw their season come to an end as the No.1 and top-seeded Carleton Ravens knocked the Gaels out with an 80-63 final.
