Queen’s Gaels celebrate a weekend of wins

No matter your sport of choice, if you were cheering for the Queen’s Gaels this past weekend, you got to celebrate with them.
From the first win for the Queen’s Gaels Football Team, to the continuing winning streak of the Women’s Rugby Team (who beat out Guelph for the first time since 2013), the Gaels dominated every field they played on from Saturday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019. FOOTBALL – Gaels get Snyder first U SPORTS win with 15-8 victory over Windsor
KINGSTON, Ont. (September 14, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (0-3) defeated the Windsor Lancers (1-2) 15-8 on Canadian Tire Kids Day in front of 2317 fans at Richardson Stadium.

WOMEN’S RUGBY – No.3 Gaels get statement win over No.4 Guelph 54-19 snapping nine-game losing streak to Gryphons
KINGSTON, Ont. (September 14, 2019) – The No.3 Queen’s Gaels (3-0) went into Guelph and took down the No.4 Gryphons (1-1) 54-19 in a battle between two of Canada’s elite programs.

WOMEN’S SOCCER – Gaels keep unbeaten season rolling with 5-0 shutout win over the RMC Paladins
KINGSTON (September 14th, 2019) – The Queens Gaels (4-0-1) shutout the RMC Paladins (0-4) with a 5-0 victory.

MEN’S RUGBY – Gaels defeat Golden Hawks in first road match of the season
WATERLOO, Ont (September 14th, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (2-0) challenged the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (1-1) at University Stadium this afternoon in Waterloo. The Gaels were able to take their first road victory of the OUA season, with a 43-21 win against the Golden Hawks.
