LOCATED: Public assistance requested to locate missing Kingston man

According to Kingston Police, Stephen Sones has been located safely. He was reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.

Kingston Police said they they “would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.”

Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for public assistance in locating 65-year-old Stephen Sones.

According to police, the whereabouts of Sones are currently unknown. He was last seen at approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, in the area of the Bayridge Centre Plaza, which is located at the corner of Bayridge Drive and Taylor Kidd Boulevard.

“Sones was believed to be travelling on foot to the area of Days Road and Golden Mile Road,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, noting that both Sones’ family and the police are concerned about his well-being.

Sones is described as standing 5’7” tall with a slim build, and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, and carrying a black Adidas backpack.
