Public assistance requested to identify car dealership theft suspects

Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a theft from a local car dealership.

According to Kingston Police, the incident occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019. Two male suspects entered the parking lot of a west end car dealership where security video captured them walking through the parking lot while apparently looking at vehicle.

The ensuing investigation revealed that the suspects had removed a minor assembly off of one of the vehicles in the parking lot, which was valued $800.

The first suspect had a medium build and appeared to be shorter in stature than the second suspect. He was wearing dark clothing, glasses, and a black ball cap.

The second suspect had a think build, short dark hair, and was wearing blue jeans and a dark coloured hoodie. He was also wearing dark-coloured running shoes with white soles.
