President of MetalCraft Marine inducted into NMMA Hall of Fame

Bill Connor, President of MetalCraft Marine and Stanley Boats, has been inducted into the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Hall of Fame at their annual State of the Industry Breakfast in Toronto.

Established in 1998, the NMMA Hall of Fame recognizes and honours individuals whose names and deeds are synonymous with the pursuit of quality and innovation, and those who make a substantial and lasting contribution toward the advancement of the marine industry, according to a release from MetalCraft Marine.

“I am humbled and honoured to be welcomed into the NMMA Hall of Fame, and to be included with a group of outstanding inductees,” said Connor. “My love of boating started early and a big part of what has brought me to this point is my passion for what I do. Recreational boating with friends and family developed into a love of building high-performance vessels. I want to thank our exceptional team of professionals who make Stanley Boats and MetalCraft Marine (MCM) the industry leaders that they are.”

Recognized with the 2022 Significant Boat of the Year award, Stanley Boats and MetalCraft Marine design and manufacture premier high-performance custom aluminum boats for government and commercial markets. They have sites in Watertown, NY and Kingston and Parry Sound, ON, and service centers across the US and Canada. According to the release, MCM and Stanley are leaders in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) design with CBRN vessels in most major US ports. They have been an approved United States GSA (General Services Administration) supplier since 1998 and have a customer base that spans the globe.
