Update: Located — Police still searching for missing youth
UPDATE (Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019): According to Kingston Police, Kayla Hartwick, 16, has been located safely as of Monday, Sept. 2, 2019. Although it was previously reported that Hartwick may have been with fellow missing youth, Lila Smith, she was not located with the other missing youth, Lila Smith remains missing. Kingston Police wish to thank everyone who shared this information for their help with this case.
Kingston Police are still attempting to locate a missing female teenager who was last seen in the Kingston are on Tuesday, Jul. 30, 2019.
Kayla Hartwick, 16, is known to frequent the Cataraqui Centre and downtown Kingston. It is possible that Hartwick is in the Toronto area, but she has also previously travelled to Montreal and Ottawa. Hartwick may be in the company of fellow missing youth, Lila Smith.
Hartwick is described as a Caucasian female standing 5’ tall and weighing 140 lbs, with a medium build, long brown hair, and blue eyes.
While Hartwick has been reported as found in the past, she has gone missing again, and police continue to look for her or any information regarding her whereabouts.
