Police seek witnesses to hit and run on Edgehill Street

Kingston Police are looking for anyone who may have information about a hit and run collision that took place near KGH and Queen’s University campus.

Police responded to the collision at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 in the area of Edgehill Street and Beverley Street. Police believe the suspect vehicle had been travelling southbound on Beverley Street and left the roadway, striking a stop sign and a residential fence on Edgehill Street. According to Kingston Police, the street signs that had been affixed to the top of the stop sign were not found at the scene.

The incident took place between 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, and 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019. Police believe the suspect vehicle is dark blue in colour with possible damage to the front bumper/fender area.
