Police seek to identify suspects in break-and-enter incident in downtown Kingston




Kingston Police have released the above photos, taken from surveillance cameras, and are requesting public assistance to identify the people pictured, who are suspects in a recent break-and-enter case.
According to police, at approximately 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, two people entered the laundry room of a multi-unit residence on Alfred Street, located between Princess and Brock Streets. The two individuals then attempted to access the coin boxes of both the washer and dryer in the room, however, those attempts were unsuccessful.
At the time of the incident, one of the individuals in question was wearing a black North Face jacket with black pants and a black bicycle helmet. The other individual was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a camouflage-patterned toque, and black and white running shoes. That individual was also carrying an Under Armour backpack, which was blue, grey, and orange in colour, Kingston Police said in a media release on Monday, Mar. 6, 2023.
