Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for public assistance to identify the two suspects pictured in relation to a break and enter.

Police were called to a Stephen Street apartment building on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 after a break and enter had occurred. A male suspect and a female suspect had been observed on security video footage attempting to use a knife to pry open the outside locked door of the building.

Once the suspects had gained entry, they immediately attended the basement laundry room of the apartment building, police said. Washing machines in the laundry room were significantly damaged, as the suspects had attempted to gain access to the coin boxes on the machines using a hammer to pry them open. When their efforts to access the coins failed, the suspects fled from the scene.

Anyone who recognizes these individuals or who may have information about the incident is asked to contact. Det. Graham at 613-548-4660 ext. 6311, or via email at jgraham@kingstonpolice.ca.
