Just over an hour after Kingston Police released information about a missing 13-year-old, the teen has been located.

“Thanks to the keen observations of a member of the public following a social media release, Landon Pilon, a youth who had been reported missing this afternoon, has been located safely in downtown Kingston,” Const. Ash Gutheinz, Media Relations Officer for Kingston Police said in a press release.

Thanks to all who shared this information and helped in locating the missing boy.

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 13-year-old, Landon Pilon.

According to Police, Pilon was last seen today, Tuesday, Jul. 6, 2021, in the early afternoon in the area of Rideau Street and Corrigan Street in downtown Kingston. Family and police have been unable to locate him since, and his family are concerned for his wellbeing due to a medical condition.

“His current whereabouts are unknown, however, he frequents the downtown core and Kingston’s north end,” Kingston Police said in a press release at approximately 2:25 p.m. the same day.

Pilon is described as a Caucasian male with a fair complexion and slim build. He has brown hair, and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, light-coloured shorts, white socks, and no shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Pilon is asked to contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660. Tips can also be made anonymously by calling the Kingston Police general number (613-549-4660 ext. 0) and requesting to remain anonymous.
