Police seek public assistance to identify suspect in west end theft

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect pictured who was involved in a recent theft.
According to police, the male suspected walked into a west end store on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019 at approximately 3 p.m. He proceeded to walk through the store with a bag in his hand. The suspect was approached by employees who asked if he required any assistance, but refused all attempts made by employees to help. He then selected merchandise from the store and proceeded to leave, without making any attempts to pay for the selected merchandise. The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with short brown hair and a slim build. He was wearing a camouflage-print jacket, jeans, and running shoes that possibly had yellow laces and white soles.
