Police seek public assistance following hit and run in west end

Kingston Police are asking the public for help in locating a hit and run driver involved in a hit and run on Cedarwood Drive last week.
The collision occurred on Wednesday, Jun. 12, 2019, sometime between 8 p.m. and midnight in the 700 block of Cedarwood Drive. The victim’s car was struck by an unknown suspect vehicle, causing it to be pushed back several feet. The car sustained damage to the front end, and a nearby tree was also struck and damaged by the suspect vehicle.
The Suspect vehicle would have had damage to the back end, specifically the taillight, as pieces from the taillight were left behind at the scene, Kingston Police said.
