Police seek help to identify suspects in west end break and enter

Kingston Police have released security video images of two suspects in a west end break and enter and their vehicle, and are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the individuals.

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, a break and enter occurred at a business on Midland Avenue south of Cataraqui Woods Drive in Kingston’s west end, according to Kingston Police.

“Security video captured two of the suspects exiting a dark-coloured pickup truck in the parking lot across the street from the targeted business. Both suspects crossed the street and proceeded to break in and steal various items from the business,” police said in a press release nearly two months later on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024.

“A significant amount of damage was incurred during this incident. There was also a substantial financial loss associated with property which was stolen during this break and enter.”

According to the release, a third suspect parked and waited across the street in the parking lot with the pickup truck during this incident.

Police said that both suspects who entered the business appeared to have a slim to medium build and both had their faces covered during the break and enter.
