Police seek assistance to locate driver involved in hit and run with bus

Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for public assistance in locating the driver of the vehicle pictured, which was involved in a hit and run with a city bus.

The incident occurred on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 when, at approximately 11:22 p.m., the suspect vehicle was involved in a collision with a Kingston Transit bus. The collision took place at Montreal Street and Markland Street in downtown Kingston.

According to Kingston Police, the city bus was travelling southbound on Montreal Street and the suspect vehicle was travelling eastbound on Markland Street at the time of the collision. After the collision, the suspect vehicle failed to remain on the scene.

The vehicle is described as a newer white four-door sedan with tinted window, which may have damage to the front end.
