Police seek assistance to identify suspect in downtown Kingston break and enter

UPDATE (Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023):
Kingston Police are continuing to request assistance from the public in regards to identifying a suspect, pictured above, who was involved in a break and enter in the area of the 600 block of Princess Street.
Police said that the break and enter occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023. No new information was provided.

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man pictured, a suspect involved in a break and enter.
According to police, the break-in occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023, in the 600 block of Princess Street in downtown Kingston.
“The suspect was seen on security video throwing a rock through the front window of a business,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023.
“The suspect then proceeded to crawl through the broken window and proceeded to remove various merchandise and Canadian currency from the business.”
Police described the suspect as being a Caucasian male of medium or heavier stature. He was wearing light-coloured pants, brown shoes, and a dark-coloured plaid hooded jacket at the time of the incident.
