LOCATED: Police request public assistance to locate missing male from Kingston’s west end

UPDATE (Monday, Dec. 5, 2022):

On Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, Kingston Police shared on social media that Joel Naumann was located safely on the evening of Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 in Kingston’s east end.

Naumann was last seen on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, and his family was concerned about his well-being, according to Kingston Police in their initial missing person release.

“Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance,” police said.

UPDATE (Friday, Dec. 2, 2022):

Two days after the request went out, Kingston Police put out a second media release in hopes of locating Joel Naumann.

While the description Kingston Police provided below is still accurate, they have added that he was last seen wearing a bright orange construction vest with yellow markings, a black ball cap with TD written on the front, black pants, and a dark-coloured hoodie. He was also seen wearing rubber boots with the manufacturer’s tags still attached.

Kingston Police have released the above photos and are requesting the help of the public in locating a missing man, Joel Naumann.

Naumann, who is 31, was last seen on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, at approximately 10 a.m. in the area of the 1200 block of Midland Avenue, south of Cataraqui Woods Drive in the west end of Kingston. According to Kingston Police, Naumann suffers from mental health issues and his family is concerned about his well-being, as his current whereabouts are unknown.

Naumann is described as a Caucasian male standing 6’4” (194 cm) and weighing 180 lbs (81.6 kg), with a slim build, short brown hair, and a brown mustache.
