Police request assistance to identify suspect in west-end vehicle robbery


Kingston Police have released the above photos and are asking for public assistance in identifying the person pictured, a suspect in a recent robbery.
According to police, at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 the robbery victim parked his vehicle in the parking lot nearest the Isabel Turner Branch of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library, which is adjacent to the Cataraqui Centre. The victim exited his vehicle and was approached by a male suspect, who demanded to take his vehicle, a white Nissan Rogue. The suspect also stole the victim’s phone before leaving the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 45 to 55 years old, with brown curly/wavy hair and a medium build. He was wearing distinctive construction-style clothing with yellow reflective stripes.
