Police request assistance to identify break and enter suspect

Kingston Police have released the above image and are asking for public assistance in identifying the person pictured, a suspect in a recent break and enter and robbery.

On Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at approximately 1:35 a.m. a male suspect committed a break and enter at a west end Kingston store by smashing out a window and entering the premises, according to a release from Kingston Police, dated Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. Once inside police say the suspect broke display cases and then fled the scene with an undisclosed number of items.

The suspect was captured on video surveillance and appeared to be Caucasian, 30-45 years of age, 5’10”, with a slim build and partial beard which was thicker in the area of his goatee. He was wearing a green brimmed toque, a red large pattered plaid jacket, light blue jeans and beige work boots. He was carrying a red and black bag and was wearing work gloves.
