Police release video of suspect in violent robbery
As Kingston Police continue to investigate a violent robbery that occurred in a north-end hotel, detectives have obtained the above video, which is being released to the public in the hope that anyone with information will come forward.
The incident was originally reported on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, the day after the incident occurred. On October 18, the male suspect became angry with the female victim and struck her in the mouth before demanding money and starting to choke her. The suspect took the victim’s phone and money before leaving, and tossed the phone out his car window as he left.
Police believe that the suspect is driving a Nissan Juke in the surveillance video they obtained, and are warning the public not to approach the suspect if he is seen – instead, contact Kingston Police immediately.
