Police looking for truck, owner in relation to Amherstview collision that took teen’s life

The investigation into the singe vehicle collision that occurred on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018 and resulted in the death of a 16-year-old girl from Amherstivew continues, according to Kingston Police.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. that day, when the vehicle, travelling on Coronation Boulevard just south of Taylor Kidd Boulevard, left the road and struck a limestone rock cut. Both the 16-year-old male driver and the 16-year-old female passenger were rushed to hospital following the collision, and the female later succumbed to her injuries.
Police are now looking for a driver and a dark coloured truck that was in the area around that time, on top of the rock cut on the west side of Coronation Boulevard. The truck was possibly on an ATV trail, Kingston Police said in a press release on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
