Police looking for information after hit and run on Division Street

Kingston Police are turning to the public for information after a driver stuck a parked vehicle, as well as a brick wall, and fled the scene.
The suspect vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the area of 609 Division Street sometime between 11 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6 and 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. After that collision, the suspect vehicle travelled southbound in the northbound lane of Division Street. The vehicle then left the roadway, striking a brick wall. The suspect failed to remain at the scene or report the collisions.

Kingston Police would like to remind citizens that, should they strike an unattended vehicle or damage property, it is important to leave contact information at the scene, such as your name, phone number, address, and/or insurance information.
“This can be done in the form of a note being left on the other vehicle. You are also encouraged to contact the police if the resulting damages appear to exceed $2000.00,” Kingston Police said in a press release.
