Kingston Police investigating robbery with knife at Knights Inn

Kingston Police are currently investigating after a robbery took place at the Knights Inn motel in central Kingston earlier today.
At approximately 12:28 p.m., police received a report of a robbery involving a knife that had just occurred. Police responded and, over the course of a couple of hours, the Kingston Police Major Crimes and Forensic Units also attended to process the scene and speak with the victim.
According to Det. Sgt. Jay Finn, there were no injuries as a result of the incident. The suspect in the case fled the scene and no arrests have been made in this case.
There is no suspect description to release at this point.
