Police investigating reports of six males with a gun on Queen’s campus

Kingston Police are currently investigating after an early morning report of six males with a rifle on Queen’s University campus.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2020, police received a call reporting six males with a rifle in the area of Bader Lane and University Avenue. According to Const. Cameron Mack, Media Relations Officer with Kingston Police, one witness reported he thought the firearm in question was a pellet gun, and that the gun was not pointed at anyone, nor discharged.
Police only received one complaint about the incident, and have no immediate concerns for public safety in the area, but are investigating nonetheless.
