Kingston Police are currently investigating following a hit and run at the intersection of Patrick and John Streets earlier this week.

The collision occurred just before noon on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.  According to Const. Ashley Gutheinz, media relations officer for Kingston Police, the incident was in direct relation to a home invasion robbery that had occurred just beforehand near Division and York Streets. The suspect(s) involved in the home invasion left the scene of that crime and were almost immediately involved in the collision at John and Patrick Streets, where the suspect’s vehicle struck a black pickup truck, and then fled the scene. A damaged vehicle was abandoned by the suspect(s) a short distance from the collision.
