Police investigating early morning Division Street collision

Kingston Police are currently investigating a collision that occurred at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020.

The early morning collision took place on Division Street between Railway and Fraser Streets, and involved a car and a truck. The driver of the car, a 21-year-old Kingston woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after she crashed into the truck. According to Kingston Police, initial information from their investigation indicated that the driver of the car may have intentionally veered into the path of the truck.

The collision and ensuing investigation caused the roadway to be closed for several hours. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 ext. 0.
