Police appeal for possible witnesses after sexual assault at Kingston Mills Locks

A sexual assault that occurred on Labour Day weekend is currently under investigation by the Kingston Police Sexual Assault Unit, according to police.
The violent incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, in the area of Kingston Mills Locks, and two males “responsible for this offence” have been identified and charged. The two males have been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated sexual assault, Kingston Police shared.
Now, investigators are asking any witnesses who may have seen or heard something related to the incident, or anyone who may have knowledge of the crimes, to come forward.
