Picton man charged after thefts from roadside farm stands in PEC

An investigation into thefts from roadside farm stands in Prince Edward County finds a Picton man facing charges.
Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating a series of thefts from roadside farm stands in the county on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
According to a release from OPP, dated Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, on that same date, and as a result of the investigation, members of the OPP Prince Edward County Detachment and the East Region Community Street Crime Unit charged Andrew Frost, age 43, of Picton with two counts of Theft under $5,000.
Frost was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Prince Edward County in September 2021.
