Petro-Canada location reopens after closure due to COVID-19

There has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 associated with the Petro-Canada located at 2444 Princess Street in Kingston, Ont.
After multiple inquiries from readers, Kingstonist reached out to Petro-Canada on Friday Nov. 20, 2020. After two days of inquiries, Petro-Canada confirmed that a team member had tested positive for the virus.

According to Petro-Canada, the impacted team member’s last shift on site was Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. All team members that may have been exposed are self-isolating for the required amount of time.
The location was immediately closed to facilitate a deep-clean and sanitization, and is now reopened. While Petro-Canada did not confirm the length of the closure, the location was closed for at least 24 hours, during which time a pest control company was seen treating the location.
