Peterborough Police charge Napanee man with child luring

A 65-year-old Napanee man has been arrested and charged with child luring and making sexually explicit material available following a lengthy online investigation, according to a release from the Peterborough Police Service, dated Monday, May 17, 2021.

On Sunday, May 16, 2021, as a result of an investigation, Robert Eric McEwen, of Napanee, Ontario was arrested and charged with two counts of luring a child under 16 years old, and making sexually explicit material available to a child under 16 years old. McEwen was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Monday, May 17, 2021.
