Pembroke residents identified as Kingston Transit bus vandals

Just one day after Kingston Police requested assistance from the public, the two male suspects who defaced a Kingston Transit bus in the area of Johnson Street and University Avenue have been identified.
Kingston Police said that the men were captured writing profane graffiti on the side of the bus during the height of the public disorder in the University District this past Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021.
With the assistance of the public and local media outlets, the suspects have been identified, according to Kingston Police. Despite wearing Queen’s University apparel at the time of the offence, both men have been identified as residents from Pembroke, Ontario and at this time police believe they have no affiliation to any Kingston post-secondary institutions.
The investigation is ongoing and both men have been charged with one count each for Mischief not exceeding $5000.
