OPP seeking witnesses to serious 401 collision near Napanee

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking witnesses of a serious single vehicle collision that sent one person to hospital.

“On October 22, 2022, just after 9:15 a.m., officers responded to a collision westbound on Highway 401, west of Beachwood Road in Greater Napanee,” OPP said in a release. The single motor vehicle rollover closed the highway for about seven hours, eventually reopening at around 4:10 p.m.

According to OPP, a 21-year-old passenger from Mississauga was transported to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

“L&A OPP continues to investigate the cause of the collision with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Reconstructionist,” OPP said.
