OPP seeking video footage after pedestrian hit by vehicle in Amherstview

In the morning of Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, the Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a 67-year-old male who had been hit by a vehicle as he was walking on Amherst Drive by Manitou Crescent, in Amherstview.

According to a release from the OPP, the incident took place at around 7:30 a.m. and the male sustained minor injuries and was treated by EMS. Police said the vehicle did not stay on scene, and it is unknown what type of vehicle it was.

The OPP is looking for anyone with home security video or vehicle video that may have captured the incident.
