OPP seeking public assistance regarding assault in Deseronto
On the weekend a man was dropped off at the L&A County General Hospital in Napanee with serious injuries sustained as the result of an assault. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact them.
The man arrived at the hospital on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021, according to a release from OPP, dated Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021. Investigators believe the male, aged 52 years, was attacked by one or more unknown persons in the village of Deseronto. Police feel that this is an isolated incident and there is no immediate threat to public safety. The male remains in hospital with indeterminate injuries, OPP said.
