LOCATED: OPP seeking assistance to locate missing Odessa man

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) released an update on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, stating that Jason Cartie has been located safely. L&A County OPP would like to thank the public for sharing information and providing leads to his location.

Officers of the Lennox & Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have released the above photo and are asking for assistance in locating a missing 45-year-old male from Odessa.

Jason Cartie was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, around 7:30 a.m. when he left his residence with a few belongings and did not return, according to a release from OPP. Cartie is described as a white male, approximately 183cms (6’0″), 108kgs (240lbs), with brown buzz-cut hair and prescription glasses. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans and black or blue running shoes. Police are concerned about his whereabouts.
