OPP seek male in relation to Amherstview stabbing incident

The following is an update from the OPP regarding the road rage and stabbing incident in Amherstview on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019:

As the investigation continues into a stabbing incident in Amherstview on Thursday evening, the Lennox & Addington (L&A) County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are now seeking assistance from the public in locating an accomplice of the woman accused in the stabbing.

Investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment in Napanee where the accused resides with her boyfriend, whom police believe was also present at the scene of the stabbing and assisted the accused in fleeing the scene. Police located a quantity of illegal drugs and firearms during the execution of the search warrant.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 22 year-old, Michel LEROUX of Napanee who is charged with:

• Accessory after the fact to the commission of an indictable offence;

• Possession of Cannabis for the purpose of selling;

• Possession of firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with;

• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle;

• Careless storage of a firearm;

• Possession of cocaine;

• Possession of Schedule II drugs;

• Possession of a Schedule III drug for the purpose of trafficking

Police believe that LEROUX may still be operating the black Chevrolet Malibu sedan bearing Ontario licence plate: CFDN 620 that was involved in the Thursday evening incident in Amherstview.

As reported earlier, 24 year-old Breanne HASS was arrested by L&A County OPP on Friday morning. As a result of the continuing investigation into the matter, HASS has been charged with:

• Aggravated Assault;

• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;

• Possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling;

• Failing to comply with bail conditions;

• Possession of a firearm knowing that the serial number has been tampered with;

• Possession of cocaine;

• Possession of a Schedule II drug;

• Careless storage of a firearm

• Possession of a Schedule III drug for the purpose of trafficking
