OPP seek assistance to locate wanted offender known to frequent Kingston

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Statutory Release. 

According to a release from the OPP, Tyrell Piercey is described as a black male, 29 years old, standing 5’9″ (180 cm) tall, weighing 180 lbs (82 kgs), with black hair and brown eyes. He has “TTDT” tattooed on his right forearm, police stated.

Piercey is serving a four-year, nine-month and 17-day sentence for:

  • Possession of prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition
  • Assaulting a peace officer
  • Possession of a firearm knowing it is altered/defaced
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order

The OPP said the offender is known to frequent the cities of Scarborough, Toronto, Kingston, and Ottawa.

“Anyone having contact with this offender or information in regards to their whereabouts is asked to contact the Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll free at 1-866-870-7673 (ROPE) or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or call 911,” the OPP stated.
