OPP seek assistance to identify suspects in Amherstview LCBO thefts

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has released the above images, obtained from security footage, and asking for public assistance to identify the individuals pictured.
According to the OPP, the four people pictured are involved in two separate theft investigations in association with thefts from the LCBO location in Amherstview, Loyalist Township.
The first theft occurred on Thursday, Jul. 20, 2023, when, at approximately 4 p.m., a male entered the liquor store and “was caught on video surveillance shoplifting two bottles of alcohol, police said.
The OPP described that suspect (Suspect 1) as having blond hair, and he was wearing a black sweater, black pants, and black shoes at the time of the theft.

“The male suspect then exited the store, got into a blue vehicle. The vehicle driver was a petite blonde woman,” the OPP said in a press release on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2023.
Then, nearly three weeks later, three males entered the same liquor store in Amherstview and were caught on video surveillance shoplifting a bottle of alcohol each, police reported.

Anyone who is able to identify these suspects or who has knowledge of these incidents is asked to contact the L&A OPP at 1-800-310-1122. Those with information who would prefer to remain anonymous can submit tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
