OPP requesting public assistance to identify person of interest

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have released the above photo and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest.

According to the OPP, on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m., an unknown male walked onto a property in the area of Keeley Road and Sydenham Road in Sydenham. A trail camera captured the above image of the man approaching the home.

The ensuing investigation found that the male entered an unlocked garage and stole a computer accessory.

The person of interest is described as a white male, 20 to 40 years of age, wearing gloves, a cross-body sling-style backpack, and carrying a hunting knife on his right hip.
