LOCATED – OPP request public assistance to locate missing man

UPDATE: Cecil Lockhart was located, safe and sound, on June 12th.
ORIGINAL: The Lennox & Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 84-year-old Napanee man.
Cecil Lockhart was last seen Tuesday, Jun. 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Town of Greater Napanee. Lockhart did not return home after that appointment and was reported missing by family, according to the OPP
“Mr. Lockhart may be disoriented and both investigators and family members are concerned for his safety,” the OPP said in a press release on Wednesday, Jun. 12, 2019.
Lockhart is described as:
- 84 years old
- 5’6″ tall
- 130 lbs (thin build)
- Grey hair
- Glasses
- Last seen wearing blue/white plaid shirt and jeans
The OPP said Lockhart is believed to be operating his burgundy, 2004 Ford Taurus bearing Ontario Licence plate: BALB 181.
Information revealed as part of the investigation suggests that Lockhart may have been in the Kitchener area at approximately 8:12 a.m. on Wednesday, Jun. 12, 2019, and police believe that he may be headed to the London, Ont. area.
L&A County OPP are asking that anyone who observes Lockhart or his vehicle to contact their nearest OPP Provincial Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
