OPP request public assistance in after theft at Napanee ONroute

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting assistance from the public in an ongoing investigation into a theft from a vehicle, which occurred at a local ONroute location.
The theft occurred at the Napanee ONroute location, which is situation just west of County Road (CR) 4 off of Highway 401 in Loyalist Township. ONroute locations are sometimes referred to as rest stops, and are located along the 400 series highways In Ontario offering fuel, food, drinks, restrooms, and other amenities.
According to the OPP, at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, the theft from a vehicle at the Napanee ONroute was reported to the L&A OPP. The owner of a grey Honda Pilot had parked their vehicle at the ONroute before entering the service station. When they returned a short time later, someone had “smashed the rear window of their vehicle and stolen numerous items,” the OPP reported in a press release two days later.
As the investigation into the theft continues, police are asking for assistance to identify any suspect(s) involved.
