OPP raise over $3k in donations at ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ drive in Sharbot Lake

On Saturday, Apr. 9, 2022, members of the Frontenac Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Auxiliary OPP and the North Frontenac Food Bank had great success with their “Stuff the Cruiser” food drive. 

The event, which took place in the parking lot of Mike Deans, 1039 Elizabeth Street in Sharbot Lake, raised over $1,600 in cash and a value of $1,400 in groceries. OPP said that cash donations are important as they are used to buy fresh food and basic hygiene products.

According to a release from the OPP, all donations will remain within the Central and North Frontenac communities. The OPP and North Frontenac Food Bank would like to thank the community for all their generous donations.
