OPP make arrest after spray painting spree in Amherstview

A spray painting spree in Amerstview has led to the arrest of one individual.

According to the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), police received complaints about buildings being spray-painted on August 13, 14, and 16 on Bath Road in Amherstview.

On Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, officers located and arrested the male responsible for the spray-painting, the OPP said in a press release the following day..

As a result of this investigation, the L&A County OPP have charged Tyler Buckley, age 29, of Loyalist Township, with:

  • Four counts of mischief – destroying or damaging property

Buckley was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in September 2023.
