OPP investigating suspicious fires in Prince Edward County

Late in the evening of Monday, Apr. 4, 2022, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County Detachment were called to the area of Highway 62 near Wilson Road for reports of two fires.

According to a release from the OPP, two structures had been burned, and the fires are believed to be suspicious. The investigation is ongoing.  

Prince Edward OPP are asking anyone who may have information regarding this occurrence to report it by calling 1.888.310.1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or submit a tip online at www.crimestoppersquinte.ca. Individuals who leave tips may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
