OPP investigating sudden deaths, serious injuries in Napanee

Officers with the Napanee detachment of Lennox and Addington County OPP are investigating an incident causing the sudden deaths of two adults and serious injuries to a youth.

OPP were dispatched to an apartment complex at 434 Palace Rd in Napanee at around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning for a report of what appeared to be an assault on a female. On scene, police discovered a man and woman dead inside the unit, and a teenaged female with serious injuries. She is now being treated in hospital.

OPP say there is no danger to the public arising from the incident at this time. The detachment’s Crime Unit and the OPP’s Forensic Identification Services are investigating and OPP are continuing to contain the scene as of Sunday morning.
