OPP investigating Napanee collision after driver pinned beneath vehicle

The Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a single-vehicle collision, which occurred last night on County Road 9 in Greater Napanee.

Just after 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, officers responded to the single-vehicle collision. According to a release from the OPP, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and pinned underneath after it struck a tree and rolled. The 24-year-old was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

County Road 9 was closed for most of the night between Fitchett Road and Cuthill Lane, according to the release.

OPP said that the investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI).
