OPP investigating fatal ATV collision in Stone Mills Township

Over the weekend, an ATV collision claimed the life of a 54-year-old Kingston man.

According to a release from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers responded to the single-vehicle collision on Holden Road in Stone Mills Township shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023.

Police said that the preliminary investigation revealed the ATV was travelling on the road and entered the ditch when the operator was thrown from the vehicle. The 54-year-old from Kingston was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The OPP noted that the investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of Technical Collision Investigators and a Collision Reconstructionist.
