OPP investigating discovery of human remains north of Kingston
On Saturday October 5, 2019 shortly after 9:30 a.m., officers from the Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended a remote location on Opinicon Rd in South Frontenac’s Perth Road Village after receiving a report of found human remains.
OPP say the investigation is still in the early stages, and the identity of the deceased and cause of death are yet to be determined. The OPP is assisting the Office of the Chief Coroner in the investigation.
OPP say no further information will be released at this time.
